Garrett Goebel (Defensive Tackle)

The Facts: Lombard (Ill.) Montini Catholic DT Garrett Goebel will be taking an unofficial to Michigan next Friday. He appears to have Michigan and OSU leading, with West Virginia and in-state school Illinois still on his list as well. Goebel has already eliminated Notre Dame, Tennessee, Penn State, Nebraska among many others. He says he will come to a decision after his Michigan visit.

The Watercooler Talk: With Mike Martin already locked up, I would love another big DT for the 2008 class. As of right now, it seems like a toss-up. I think everything depends on how his visit to Ann Arbor goes next Friday. If it is just ok, he will be a Buckeye.

Almost Like the First Day of School

You know that feeling when you wake up that first morning for school? No, I'm not talking about the tingling excitement you get of starting the 7th grade. I'm referring to the "hit the snooze button four times because I'm hungover" feeling you get before starting another year of college, or in my current case, another day of work.

Anyways, now that I've lost all credibility from my potential readership, I welcome you to (another) Michigan Football blog. Although the main issues discussed will be about the University of Michigan and its football team, I withhold the right to discuss anything and everything.

So with that, I welcome you and hope that this doesn't lead to me ending up in a dumpster in Columbus, OH.

Go Blue.
